What are Opioids and why are they so bad?
Opioids are a large group of pain medications; most are made from poppy plants. Some of the most commonly known ones are Morphine, Oxycodone, Codeine, and the most monstrous one of them all Fentanyl. Fentanyl is a lab-grown opioid and is the most dangerous one of them all. Opioids are hazardous because of how addicting they can be. The pain reliving aspect of these drugs can lead to immense pleasure and can lead to one increasing the amount they take and the frequency leading to addiction and sometimes overdose.
